IndeTravel: Who We Are & What We Do

Hello! We're so glad you stopped by today. Are you thinking about traveling somewhere this year? Here at IndeTravel, we are always thinking about and researching exciting new places to visit and fun things to do around the U.S. We'd love to hear from you about where you'd like to go.

We are a friendly, fledgling group of travel assistants with a passion for helping the physically disabled population in our community discover the joys of vacationing independently. 

We offer three levels of service to fit your specific needs as well as your budget. These levels are categorized as Economy, Mid-Range, & Luxury.

Economy ($30)

*Initial consultation by e-mail or phone

*Booking of hotel, flights, and other transportation (if applicable) at our office         

Mid-Range ($40)

*Initial consultation in person at our office

*Booking of hotel, flights, & other transportation (if applicable) at our office

*A thoroughly researched, personalized guide of accessible tourist attractions we will handpick just for you

Luxury ($50)

*Initial consultation at a location of your choice (your home, a coffee shop, our office, etc.)

*Booking of hotel, flights, & other transportation (if applicable) at our office

*Purchase of tickets to shows, events, etc. (if applicable)

*A thoroughly researched, personalized guide of restaurants, accessible tourist destinations, and other activities we handpick for you based on your wants and needs

Please note: At this time, we can accept payment in CASH ONLY, payable up front at your booking session.

Prices stated cover only the services we directly provide for you. You are responsible for covering all costs of your trip, including (but not limited to) airfare, airport fees, hotel accommodations, rental car fees, other transportation, meals, tourist attractions, etc.      

You must have your own staff accompany you on your trip, if applicable. We do not provide staff for you.

Day in the Sky!

We had a fantastic time at the Day in the Sky this past Saturday! Thank you so much to everyone who came out and supported IndeTravel and the other local agencies that assist the disabled population in Santa Cruz County. Here are some pictures of our booth for those of you that weren't able to make it:

Opening for business in April 2012!

IndeTravel exists to assist people with disabilities to safely and conveniently travel to select locations in the United States. Traveling with disabilities can be extremely difficult because of architectural barriers and other insufficiencies in accommodation for people with additional needs. The intention of IndeTravel is to improve the traveling experience for people with disabilities. We provide customized travel packages for individuals, couples, and small groups. The core value of IndeTravel is the belief that disabled people need a vacation too! People with disabilities need to have fun and get away, without having to be afraid of problematic situations arising. When people with disabilities explore new places it helps to show the world that disabled people are independent and important members of society. IndeTravel is a client services centered business. Its founder, Lillian Adkins, is passionate about assisting people with disabilities to travel the world because she has personal experience with the difficulties of traveling as a person with a disability.
